Pet Portrait Commission Process
From our first conversation to the final pencil stroke, I’m dedicated to making sure your pet’s personality and spirit shine through in every detail. I take the time to get to know you and your pet, listening to your stories and learning about what makes them special. Whether you're looking for a heartfelt tribute to honor your furry friend or a unique gift to bring joy to someone you love, I’m here to turn your vision into something meaningful and personal.
Together, we’ll choose the colours, style, and feel that best capture their essence, creating a portrait that feels as unique as the bond you share.
The process is simple...
1, Contact me
By phone, whattsapp, Email, we can arrange a video call if you like, whatever you are comfortable with.
We can go through
- What your ideas are,
- Who your portrait is focussing on,
- Photos you currently have and whether more would be required,
- What background you would want,
- If there is a date you want your portrait by,
- What size you would want the portrait to be (please see my basic price gude for pet portraits here)
- And of course we will talk about cost.
2, Mock up
After our initial contact I will create a mock up using the ideas we discussed to make sure this is what you had in mind.
Once you are happy that it is how you want, I will contact you when I am ready to start your portrait and I will ask for a 50% non refundable deposit on the cost.
3, Creation
During the creative process I will be in touch to let you know how the portrait is going and how it is looking and that you are happy with the progress so far. I will also be creating a time lapse video which will show the process at work. (I will ask that I use this in my Social Media once you have recieved the finished product or once you have gifted the finished piece)
4, Final step
Once i have finished the picture, I will contact you and send high quality pictures so you can look in detail at the finished product. Once you are happy with the picture, I will ask for the rest of the payment with the addition of shipping if needed.
Once this is all recieved I will send this out to you fully insured and tracked shipping.
